About me

I love to learn about new places, people and cultures. I especially like learning languages. Expecting the world to speak English is an unintentionally arrogant trait of Americans. I’m the father of a grown daughter in college. I’m very down to earth. I love sitting home, cooking, having a few drinks and watching a movie. But, I also like to go out. I have a trailer and love to “camping”. I am an avid reader. I love a good novel! There is so much going on today. I try to keep up with politics, social issues, culture, travel. At the same time, the media infuriates me when they invade the privacy of people. The one thing I want most in a woman is humor! Being able to laugh together is so important. I think humor is the gateway to good, solid communication, and communication is essential to any solid relationship. It doesn’t mean we have to agree. Arguments occur any relationship, of course, but you and I HAVE to learn each other enough to know how to argue. Being able to communicate, culture in general, social issues, staying healthy, and thinking out of the box are things I respect in a lady. I like funny films, kayaking, and I love to listen to old people’s stories. I talk with people. I can’t handle cigarette smoke. Sorry. Sex. OK. Let’s go there. I love sex, and I want someone that expects as much from me as I do from her. Kissing…is important. Oh....and I'm not about to put my salary on here.

Looking for

I don't know that there is an 'ideal' match. I am looking for someone to accept me and be happy with me as I am. In return, I will treat you the same, and not ask you to change who you are.
