About me

What I do is not really a job – it’s a calling. I don’t live to work and accumulate more and more "stuff". I want to inspire in others curiosity about the world and all it has to offer. Travel, meet new people, and encourage better understanding. If all that sounds too corny then I'm definitely not for you! For fun I like to cook (usually but not exclusively "ethnic") and for someone else not only myself, enjoy the outdoors (preferably mountains but the beach is cool too!), fly fish for trout (even though I'm in Walleyeworld), travel (the more "exotic" the better), and read of course. I try to get in a cardio workout a least every other day but I know it should be daily. Now that the weather is better I’ll be walking a lot more. I don't watch much television and I can't get into the Facebook phenomenon. I consider myself to be an honest person. To me integrity is absolutely crucial in life. I cannot tolerate deceit and lying. I think that if everyone would just be truthful things would be much better. Idealistic, I know. Sorry, I can’t help it..

Looking for

I'm interested in someone who is curious about the world and likes to travel. It doesn't even always have to be far - I love the Western states and would like to explore more of them. I like to avoid chains multinational corporations and will go out of my way to shop and dine at “mom and pop” establishments. Is that you too?
