About me

I'm romantic probably to a fault I think the rest here is best unwritten. I have a positive outlook on life and realize I will never learn enough great things but get satisfaction in the pursuit. I have a tendency to take risks because I believe life is too short to take the safe road. I have a new found interest in visiting museums. I used to be active in politics I now enjoy politics only because i am amused by irony and absurdity. However I will never lose interest in giving back to my community and I continue to geek out with my civic volunteer activities. I have accomplished many goals in my career and am happy where I am in life. Some of my friends that I consider the most intelligent successful people I have ever known have a seemingly unquenchable thirst of curiosity and interest in other people, places, history and cultures – a trait I am trying to emulate. I don't like people who think they are more special than the next person, so I honor the value of humility and strive to exercise it. I’ll probably always think my best days are ahead of me. And I have a strong desire to have a trusted companion with a similar mindset to share that journey with me. I’m a morning person and prefer the outdoors to the indoors, walking, exploring, and often wonder what’s around the corner.

Looking for

I’m looking for a sincere, romantic, stable, affectionate, and down to earth kind of man who is ready and mature enough for dating. Open relationships are not for me I don't want your significant other in my life. Looks are not the most important attribute that I look for, you must enjoy experiencing the long, challenging, and fulfilling journey that starts with friendship and leads to who knows where. I want to date a man who has a job, however, the job isn't his entire life, he needs to be able to say "Well this will be here tomorrow... let me spend some time with the lady I love". You don't have to be rich and successful, but should be happy about who and where you are and have goals for the future. I'm attracted to man who have their lives together. In other words, you're over your last girlfriend, you don't smoke or do drugs.
