I am old! Also a friendly, smart, thoughtful gentleman who is capable of many things. I like to travel, savor simple and complex pleasures, and extract the humor out of life's formidable mixture of good and bad. I am an able communicator and writer who can be blunt, candid, and brutally honest. That's the best 'policy'.

Looking for

I am looking for a young woman who is undemanding, easy to like, and free of 'heavy baggage'.... I believe I'd be a better match for an Asian woman. However, I do fear I am either too old for the type I'd like, or the type I'd like is too young! Ironic since large age gaps are problematic. Parents, friends, etc. can be very resentful. I suppose I am 'asking for trouble' even being on this site, but I've never found my true mate so figured I'd try. I may not have the patience, time, or capacity for raising children. I would have been a good dad, but it would be very difficult now, and unfair to the child. Perhaps there is a woman who is childless, needs little, and wants to be happy with a man like me. She's neat, clean, polished, attractive, smart, and knows what she wants. Helpful, involved, intellectually capable. Interested in learning new things, possibly golf? Traveler, and home-loving too. Likes animals.
