About me

I'm a calm and collected individual with a proclivity for intimate settings with few people involved, though I can be convinced to go to just about any music concert. I try not to take things too seriously and love to laugh and make others do the same. I listen to all music - I'm sure a lot of people say that, but I really try to listen to everything including rock, rap, (real) country, swing, jazz, classical, showtunes, etc. I work as an environmental scientist for a consulting company and really enjoy it. I get to figure out environmental puzzles for a living basically. I have one very friendly cat (the tuxedo in the pictures - Locke) that is a huge flirt and will almost certainly immediately warm up to you. If you like cats that's great. If you don't - give my guy a chance! I love hiking, naturalism, exploring the natural world. Obviously I'm very outdoors oriented, but I also like going to movies, museums, getting into television series and retro video games. I like drawing as a hobby - I'm not very good but it's still fun. My favorite stuff to draw is cartoons. It's a style that lets me really exaggerate and stretch the rules. I like trying new things - especially in an interpersonal setting. I love learning about what makes people happy. I have a passion for passions. What makes you smile? I'm always up for a beer or two but am not much of drinker - so I'll gladly be a designated driver!

Looking for

Someone who has some common interests and perhaps some interests of their own. I'm looking for someone who wants to be my partner and my friend. I really enjoy passion in all forms and am deeply attracted to intelligence.
