"I am Lilian Caliste Patricio, 31 years old, from Calbayog, Samar, Philippines. I am a single mom to five children, but they are not with me right now—they are with their father. That is why I am here in Manila working as a house helper. It is hard being alone in life. I don't have my parents anymore because they disowned me because of my children's father. My ex-partner kicked me out, accusing me of having another man, but the truth is I was never unfaithful. He was the one who had other women and he kept cheating on me repeatedly. I couldn't take it anymore, so when he told me to leave, I just walked away. This is my first time working and coming here to Manila, and I don't know anyone. I hope to find a man who will truly love me and accept me wholeheartedly, even though I have children. I am willing to live wherever you are. Hoping I will find someone here."
